I have a background in Studio Art and Commercial Art. In 1999 my office, The Fairfax County Office for Children, sent me to a National Wildlife Summit at Rocky Mountain National Park. I brought along the office digital camera, a Kodak 210 +. The experience with this Kodak Camera sparked my interest in digital photography. I bought my first digital camera in the spring of 2000. The Olympus C-2020Z was an awesome camera! I loved the immediate feedback and the image quality was incredible. I also enjoy using the Olympus C-3000Z and Olympus C-2100UZ Digital Cameras.

The digital format creates a dream come true, the ability to create new and distinct images in the chemical free digital darkroom of a computer. I now have a passion for photography that I may never have had without the exposure to the digital format. I enjoy sharing the compositions that have danced across my viewfinder, especially images of my children and those found in the natural world in various photography forums around the world. I earned a Best of Category Award for People/Portraits on Digitalphotocontest.com in August 2000 for a photo of my daughter taken with the Olympus C-2020Z. I also have a series of photos on display at Bestfoto.com in their Gallery Section.
